5 Natural Hair Care Tips that Work for Everybody. #3 is My Fave!

5 Natural Hair Care Tips that Work for Everybody. #3 is My Fave! -by L.J. O'Neal.1. Physical Exercise for Natural Hair Care

Our serotonin levels in the brain are increased with proper physical exercise and that makes us happy. When we’re happy, we feel a sense of balance and wellbeing. Our entire body feels the effects of regular physical exercise, along with a healthy diet, including our hair follicles. If our regular physical exercise routine includes cardio and aerobic activity, cortisone can be reduced in our bodies, thus promoting hair growth.

2.  Keep Hydrated internally

Drink plenty of water. Nourish your hair like you nourish your skin. In other words, eat a healthy diet rich in hydrating fruits and vegetables. This will help to keep your hair soft and lustrous. Hydrate for proper skin care and hair care.

3. Healthy Hair Care from a Healthy Diet

While 100% natural herbal hair care products are a great help to grow and maintain lustrous, radiant hair –adding a routine of healthy eating will further benefit your hair care efforts. Work on growing healthier and stronger cells through diet.

Make sure your body receives and produces keratin naturally by healthy eating: protein-rich foods like nuts, seeds, low fat dairy products, lean meats, fish and egg whites.

Healthy hair needs essential fatty acids such as omega-3 found in fatty fish like salmon. However, other healthy foods rich in omega-3 include flaxseeds, walnuts, winter squash, beans and olive oil.

Vitamins are absolutely crucial for healthy hair care and growth. Sure, you can take a multi-vitamin, but it is better to eat a healthy diet filled with nutrient-rich foods for healthy hair.  Healthy hair requires a good supply of B-complex vitamins (that include folic acid, biotin, vitamin B-12), Vitamin A sources, zinc and copper for nourishment of a healthy scalp.

4.  Have a Consistent Natural Hair Care Routine

Having a regular natural hair care routine is absolutely essential for healthy hair condition and growth. It needn’t cost a lot of money or even too much time, once you get the hang of it.  Daily, weekly and monthly healthy hair routine.

5. Natural Hair Care Loves Daily Scalp Massage

Why is scalp massage important in our hair care? When you increase circulation to your scalp, blood flows freely and allows nutrients to reach your hair follicles, which usually leads to hair growth.  Only 10 minutes of scalp massage (twice a day) are needed (morning/night) and a daily consistent routine.
