Need a Deep Conditioner? Try These Hair Pack Recipes.

I really like to whip up cool stuff for my hair, especially with most ingredients from my kitchen and a couple of things from Saba Botanical of USA. Why Saba? Because I trust their reputation for providing high quality ingredients from India that I can use in my hair pack recipes. I benefit with not only my hair being colored by nature, but deep conditioning from nature, as well.

  • 1-2 ounces of coconut milk
  • Optional: Add a couple of drops of an essential oil like lavender, jasmine, ylang ylang or rose for natural pleasant fragrance.

Damaged or Dull Hair Treatment

First: Moisten hair with warm water. Massage generous amount of natural oil into hair (refined sesame or apricot, shea nut oil, olive oil, etc.) Cover hair with plastic shower cap (or plastic wrap like “Saran” wrap) and a towel. Leave on for a minimum of one hour.

Next: Apply a muddy paste of Multani Clay Powder (Fullers Earth) mixed w/water to hair and scalp. Re-cover hair with plastic shower cap (or plastic wrap like “Saran” wrap) and a towel. Leave on for 30 minutes. Using warm water, completely rinse the mud from hair and scalp.

Shampoo with a mild shampoo (Imbue Natural shampoo from Saba Botanical). Apply a small amount of naturally refined oil (except olive oil due to scent) to damp, towel dried hair and scalp. Comb through with a wide tooth comb. Let your hair dry naturally.
