“Black Henna” is Dangerous. Lustrous Henna in Soft Black is Safe.

www.SabaBotanical.comLustrous Henna® in Soft Black Shade is NOT “Black Henna”.

Lustrous Henna® is 100% All Natural Hair Color Dye. The soft black shade is derived from mixing pure henna (from the henna plant) with the extracts of pure indigo and other botanicals found in nature. Lustrous Henna® is completely para-phenylenediamine-free (PPD-free hair dye); also, ammonia-free, peroxide-free. A totally natural hair color.

Lustrous Henna® remains in its natural herbal form (a powder) in all shades, including soft black natural hair color.

To avoid confusion, always make sure of the company’s reputation that you are dealing with, since there are no regulations in many countries, including India, for ingredient labels. For this reason, “Black Henna” dyes usually contain even higher concentrations of PPD than many commercial hair dyes sold in the USA. Sadly many individuals think that when they purchase this product, it is pure indigo (or pure indigo only mixed with pure henna). Far from all natural hair color, the results have led to sad consequences and also some dermatologic horror stories.

www.SabaBotanical.comA Word about Pure Indigo:

It is not the so-call misnomer, “Black Henna”.

"Black Henna" is not pure indigo or "black" indigo. If indigo is mixed with chemicals dyes, or even henna that has been compromised by chemicals, including PPD, then it is not pure indigo or the so-called, "black henna". When you want pure indigo, make sure what you buy is: pure indigo.

If you want all natural hair color, stay far away from “Black Henna”. Choose Lustrous Henna.

"Love your product! I am 85% grey and ordered the Henna Soft Black along with the Indigo. I used three parts of Henna Soft Black and one part of Indigo. I love the results. I got a very dark brown to black color hair which was exactly what I was looking for.
I used chemical dyes two or three times and developed severe reactions to the chemicals used in those products. With the Henna Soft Black and Indigo I just get great looking hair with no reactions. Would recommend to anyone looking for natural products". Mr.Sam K. Laredo, TX
