Dry indoor heat, Dry outdoor cold = Dry skin. Dry hair.
Dry! Dry! Dry!
Thinking of what winter does to our unprotected skin actually helps us to understand what it will do to our hair if we leave it unprotected during winter months. For example, our hands become extremely dry if we don’t protect them with moisturizing lotions and gloves. If fact, extreme dryness (along with subsequent problems like peeling, itching and eczema) is the number one issue we face when our skin (face, hands, feet, entire body) is not protected from the cold weather. Our hair can also suffer from extreme dryness and can become brittle, damaged, shed and break off.
