Skin Care Recipes Using Lustrous Henna Face & Body Mask Powder, Multani Clay Powder, Orange Peel Powder and Soapnut (Reetha Fruit) Soak.
Easy as 1, 2, 3: Mix, Apply, Rinse
All Skin Types
2 tbsp. Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
Mix Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask and orange juice. Stir in honey and let the "pudding" simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool. Spread the mixture over your face and neck and let dry for 20 minutes. Rinse off gently with cool water.
Lustrous Garden Mask
1/2 papaya
1/2 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon honey
1 tbsp. Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask
Mash papaya, then blend the ingredients together. Apply to clean face, leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off gently with cool water.
Dry to Normal Skin
1/2 cup very ripe strawberries
3 tbsp. Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask
Enough water to make paste, (if needed)
Mix strawberries and Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask together to make a paste and apply it to your face, Leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse off gently with cool water.
Extra-Dry Skin
Avocado Moisture Mask for Dry Skin.1 ripe avocado
4 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tbsp. Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask
Puree avocado and blend with yogurt and Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask. Apply mixture to face. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse gently with cool water.
Oily Skin
Strawberry Mask for Oily Skin1/2 cup very ripe strawberries
3 tablespoons Lustrous Henna® Multani Mitti Clay
Enough water to make paste, (if needed)
Mix strawberries and Lustrous Henna® Multani Mitti Clay together to make a paste and apply it to your face, Leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse off with cool water.
Acne Skin and Pimples
(deep cleans skin and unclogs pores)
¼ c. Lustrous Henna® Multani Mitti Clay
¼ c. Lustrous Henna® Orange Peel Powder
2 tablespoons oatmeal powder (oatmeal ground in blender)
water
Mix all powders together. Take just a couple tablespoons of this mixture and add enough water to make a paste. Apply to face and neck. Work gently in circular motion when applying paste, especially to nose and chin area. Leave on for 15 minutes, and then gently wash off with cool water. Save dry mixture in air-tight container or zip-lock bag and store until needed.
Important Note: Please avoid contact with area around the eye. Also, do a small patch test to make sure you are not allergic to any ingredients, prior to apply mask to entire area.
