“Benefit a consumer expects to gain from a product or service. Perceived value is derived from a combination of benefits that are tangible...The perceived value of a product has a direct effect on demand and should be one of the factors considered when establishing a price.”
Is this general definition always a fact? Are there exceptions to the seemingly established "rule"?
- Does an expensive price tag ALWAYS equal high value?
- If a product is extremely beneficial and is highly effective as a beauty treatment: Does it's effectiveness lessen because it is priced much lower than what is customary (for similar products)?
- The obvious answer to both questions is a resounding, "NO". There may be solid reasons for lower prices of certain products that have proven beneficial results to the consumer.
Recently, I spoke with Syed Abbas about the prices of Saba Botanical’s 100% all natural product line: Lustrous Henna® Plant-based Hair Color Dye, Lustrous Henna® Face & Body Mask,Lustrous Henna® Orange Peel Mask, Imbue® Natural Shampoo & Conditioner, So Natural® Shampoo & Conditioner, as well as Lustrous Henna® Pure Henna (plain) and Lustrous Henna® Pure Indigo. He mentioned that “the prices are set so all men and women can afford to receive highly valued and beneficial natural botanical beauty.”
Saba Botanical’s prices might be low in comparison to other upscale, high quality and highly natural beauty products, but the VALUE is always superior quality and never compromised.
So, please don’t make the mistake of thinking that lower prices mean lower value. As our current customer’s have attested to: Our products are fantastic!
Thank You. Thank You. THANK YOU!
I am 39 and 40% grey. For years I've been killing my hair with chemical dyes that left it lifeless, dry, brassy, and recently I've come to realize, thinner. Determined to abandon chemical dyes forever, I've poured everything in my hair from sage to coffee to prune juice. Nothing has done the trick, until tonight when I used your natural Henna. It's beautiful. Gorgeous. It's my hair as it used to be. THANK YOU.
