Blend together the following in a bowl: 3 egg yolks;1 cup of full-fat mayonnaise (let mayo warm to room temperature); ½ cup of olive oil (some folks prefer extra-virgin olive oil also known as, EVOO). Makes 1-2 hair treatments, depending on your hair length.Apply this mixture to your hair thoroughly –from root to tip-and gently massage it in for 3-5 minutes. Cover your head with shower cap; then cover with a towel to keep the heat in. Leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Final part of rinse: use cold water for about a minute to close follicles No need to shampoo. It’s best to use this masque when you have time to spend to let your hair dry naturally. There will be some oil left in your hair but it will be conditioning your hair until your next shampoo.
BTW: when ready to shampoo, suggest to shampoo with totally natural and extremely gentle: Lustrous Henna® Shampoo Powder since it doesn’t soap up much and contains more conditioning herbs –no need to use other conditioner.
Note: This hair masque is best used immediately after mixing. (When mixture is refrigerated and cold, the fats and oils can’t penetrate the hair follicles as well.)

Extra Hair Tip: Warm or Hot temperature opens the hair follicles and the hair conditioner can penetrate the follicles deeper. Cold water closes the hair follicles. Remember: after you rinse your hair, rinse again (briefly) with very cold water (whatever you can stand).
